Do You Need a Nature Prescription?



Nature therapy may mean that better health is right outside your door.
Do you ever ask yourself why there're so many people at the Health Clinics than outside at any given time?

 stroll outside on a sunny day is a great pick-me-up. Now it may also be just what the doctor ordered.

The benefits of nature for both body and soul are finding their way to the prescription pad as more health care providers are telling their patients to take a hike -- literally.

Many health care researchers and practitioners say that ecotherapy (also known as green therapy, nature therapy, and earth-centered therapy) -- a term coined by pastoral counselor Howard Clinebell in his 1996 book of the same name -- can have regenerative powers, improving mood and easing anxiety, stress, and depression.

But that’s not all. Health care providers are also giving their patients “nature prescriptions” to help treat a variety of medical conditions, from post-cancer fatigue to obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes.  

Scientists have long known that sunlight can ease depression, especially seasonal affective disorder (SAD). New research is expanding those findings. A 2007 study from the University of Essex in the U.K., for example, found that a walk in the country reduces depression in 71% of participants. The researchers found that as little as five minutes in a natural setting, whether walking in a park or gardening in the backyard, improves mood, self-esteem, and motivation.

The growing interest in ecotherapy has even given rise to academic programs, such as one begun at John F. Kennedy University, which offers a graduate-level certificate in ecotherapy, an umbrella term that includes horticultural therapy, animal-assisted therapy, time stress management, and managing “eco-anxiety.”

John F. Kennedy University ecotherapy professor Craig Chalquist, PhD, co-author of Ecotherapy: Healing with Nature in Mind, has acknowledged that research has not proven that spending time in nature can prevent, treat, or cure any particular condition.

But a growing body of research offers a “hopeful picture” of the effectiveness of ecotherapy, Chalquist says.

Back to the Garden for Breast Cancer Survivors

Kathy Helzlsouer, MD, director of the Prevention and Research Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, has long been recommending to breast cancer survivors that they get outdoors more.

For 30% to 40% of breast cancer survivors, persistent fatigue follows their treatment, says Helzlsouer. To help her patients learn how to manage this fatigue, Helzlsouer created “Be Well, Be Healthy,” a holistic program that includes tips not only on managing stress and improving diet and exercise patterns, but also on incorporating nature as part of the healing process.

“Among the frustrations we saw in our patients,” Helzlsouer says, “was that they didn’t have the energy to garden, a favorite activity for many of them.”

For people who enjoy gardening, Helzlsouer prescribes getting back outside, even if it’s starting out with five minutes of weeding. People who aren’t gardening enthusiasts are advised to find a nearby park where they can take a walk, "commune with nature," and reap the mind-body results of a relaxing setting and physical exercise.

I must commend my City's administrator for creating a "Nature walk By The Sea" which is a 6km with it's exercise equipments along the stretch.I call it "The Walkers Paradise"
I just completed more than 7km tody and I'll be 75 years old in October this year.I feel great!

It must be always borne in mind that to enjoy life is to appreciate nature and be thankfull because it is free!

Skills in marketing, I must believe in what I am selling


Skills in marketing, I must believe in what I am selling In order to be good at marketing a product I need to really believe in it first. I have to make sure that I have the confidence in my products so that I am able to make my presentation as important to the audience as it is to myself. If I am serious about what I am doing and how I do it, I will feel better knowing that I am selling something that I truly believe in. There is nothing that should stop me from getting what I want in life. When I am trying to be a good sales person I will want to work hard at doing what I do best. I have to think about the products that I am selling and what is going to be the best way to get it moving fast. Figure out a good game plan and this will help me to be better equipped with the game plan that I amlooking for the most. I want to be prepared for anything when it comes to landing the perfect sale. When customers see that I am interested in what I am selling, I will find that they become more inclined to hear more facts. I want to show my customers that I am serious about what I am selling because I know that it is a good product that can be trusted. When I am displaying this type of emotion with my products I will see that I can sell it all easier and I will be more successful in sales to come. I learn as much as I can about the products that I am selling. I try to learn all the important qualities that the product has and what they are used for. When I am learning as much as I can, I will actually feel better when it comes to selling my product because I am going to have the facts that customers want to know about. I will be better able to help my clients know what is going on and I will not have to worry about giving bad information that they cannot trust. I should never sell anything that I do not agree with. If I am trying to sell a product that I sincerely do not trust I will find that this may effect my sales position. I may find that guilt follows me when I am trying to get someone else to buy something that I do not agree with. This is not the way that a good sales person should procede with their career. Learning to be productive with the products that I believe in is the only way that a person can make their selling power work for them. I do not have to have 100% faith in the products that I am trying sell but I should have a good idea of what to expect from. I want my customers to trust me and come back to me for more advice later on. Giving positive feedback to my customers will make me a very successful and professional sales person that can count on their efforts to make good career decisions. You see,  few years ago I came into this industry, like most people thinking..

"Gonna give this online thing a shot..seems easy enough and there's a TON of money to be made..I'm gonna be rich!!!" lol

Have heard that before?


Don't worry, it's ok. That's how it is for everyone. And that's a great thing. Never lose that feeling.

But, I also quickly realized that this 'making money online' thing is not quite as simple as I had originally thought. Am I wrong?

I'm not sure about you, but for me it was like..ok. now I need to do what again, and what does that do exactly... and that's gotta link to where..and I have to create what..oh! and btw what's an autoresponnder again? lol

And then of course, we want to learn everything and do it ourselves, right.. so then we try to learn about things like: url's and hosting and also auto-responders and so on.

That is the scenarios that most of us marketers were like before joining Neucopia.The coaches/mentors will attest to this fact and, I'm sure that they will admit joyfully the love of sharing and giving of knowledge.

In order to be able to get on in this industry and be able to succeed to earn money, the company has formulate strategies aiming to that end.It is called " Training, Training and more Training" until you  muster that elusive skills of online business.

"There's much that can't be done if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and get it done," and that I do.

Cooperate with your coaches/sponsors

While no one should ever have to be told to cooperate with caches/sponsors, all too frequently people forget to do this.
They don’t remember that the sponsor is bringing something to
the table that they couldn’t otherwise; and, instead, take
the sponsor for granted. Don’t be one of the people who does this. Cooperate with your sponsrs; and they will make sure things work out well for you.


Contact People Who Can Help You

Often, solving a problem is much easier than we think it is. The only problem is that we are unwilling to ask someone who can help us.Next time you find yourself stuck, contact someone  who 
can help you, rather than letting the problem fester. It doesn’t
matter whether that means emailing a friend or posting on a 
forum of complete strangers. Do it; get help; and move on.
  


Do What Gurus Do—Not What They Say

Instead of doing what gurus tell you to do, pay attention to what they do. Think about how it is that they’ve captured  such a large audience. Also, consider how it is that they’ve become
so successful in their niche. And then emulate these features in 
your own business. 


Don’t Burn Yourself Out

When it comes to running your own business, it is all too easy to put in long hours and burn yourself out. Don’t do this.
When your work is done for the night,go to bed, get some sleep,
and then come back the following day well-rested.

 Don’t Spam Your Email Lists

Internet marketers often mistake the mistake of spamming their email lists. That is—as soon as they acquire an email address,
they send it a deluge of emails (both “informative ones”and ones
that sell products). The end result is that leads get turned off
and unsubscribe or stop paying attention. Make sure you don’t do
this to your list.


 Don’t Waste Time

If you find yourself spending hours each day surfing the Internet when you’re technically “working on your business,”
then it’s time to re-evaluate your priorities.If you truly 
want to spend that time surfing the net, then continue to do
so. But if not, then you may want to keeping work and leisure separate. When you’re at work, do work only. But if you get burnt out, then take a break and do something you enjoy, rather than wasting time doing something you don’t enjoy
and counting it as “work.”

Fall Down—And then Pick Yourself Up

Don’t be afraid to fail. Push hard until you fall down. But once you do, pick yourself up; and get working on the new project.
Fight for Small Gains; Fight Harder for Large Gains
Working hard is important, but only when it means the payoff will be big. Keep that in mind before you slave-away on a project with no clear estimate of how much you will get in return.

 Find New Strategies Each Day

Each day, push yourself to learn something new about Internet marketing. Don’t stagnate at your current level of knowledge;
push yourself to learn more, so that you can continuously become 
a better marketer.

About Riches



Have you ever asked yourself precisely how the rich got their wealth? Did they work flat out for the riches, inherited the funds or just simply pure geniuses who very thought of unique business ideas which exploded out there.
They think big in terms of money matters. It's possible to work your life and save every penny you earn to get rich but it's not one of the simplest ways. Most millionaires have developed their wealth by starting their personal businesses. The irony about business and wealth is, the greater amount of you think about earning money simply for yourself the harder it is because of one to become rich. In an effort to be truly wealthy, start thinking about others. How will you help people get exactly what want?

After my 1st article on the Essentials about making money online, I was able to step back and think and thinking very hard as I'm about to venture into an area that is daily overcrowding.
Not to go on and bore the readers, I must make some choices to narrow down my areas of expertise on Internet Marketing where I could make myself marketable.
There isn't a business owner anywhere in the world that
wouldn't want things to be even better than they are. After all, that’s why they got into business in the first place. No one starts a business with the intention of not getting rich.
Having said all that, let's get into why I'm telling you this.

The Essentials

Here's my take on making money online. You can take it, you can leave it, but rest assured, it works.
This really doesn't need much more than a page, because the purpose here is to get you focused. (See
tip #2) Now, get ready for the one-page report that could change your life.
The Essentials
#1. Take Action.
The most important thing you can do ever is take action. One of the biggest problems people have in
online marketing is a thing called "Information Overload" and that's mostly saying "I'm taking in so
much information that I'll never have time to implement it." And yep, you can learn a whole bunch,
really really fast online, but guess what? You'll never be able to implement it all. So here's our next tip:
#2. Take it one thing at a time
Not only is it important to take action, you really really need to do one thing at a time, whether or not
it's the best way or not. This is really important. When you're brainstorming, you can think about all the
possibilities, but when working on implementation, FOCUS. Don't get scattered. Focus.
#3. Get used to a ton of email
I get hundreds of emails every day. How often do I unsubscribe? Hardly ever. Unless it's super
annoying and entirely useless stuff, you're best off keeping on the email lists, so you'll always know
what's going on, and what to promote. You can organize it, and all that, but stop worrying about
unsubscribing. If you don't have enough space, get a free Gmail.Com mail account.
#4. You'll need some things
You need a website, a paypal, a clickbank, and a autoresponder if you're going to be marketing
online...That's just the bare essentials. Practically any legitimate program can pay you by paypal or
clickbank. If they can't, well...Check it out. Don't spend too much time though, because it's probably
not worth it.
#5. The customer is
always
right
There's nowhere near enough information about this in internet marketing. Sometimes customers can
be really annoying, but if you treat your customers right, they'll spend money on you. It's that simple.
#6 You'll need to know some things
You need to learn how to code HTML, and use FTP properly. If you don't learn those, it's going to be
really difficult to succeed online. Also, you need to be able to write something convincing. Most
marketers call that copywriting. Stack the odds in favor of somebody wanting to buy with value, and
words, and you'll do great.
